WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL AND WHERE DO I PARK?  --   The festival is in the heart of the newly refurbished Pompano Beachfront, centered at the Pompano Beach Fishing Pier, on the beach one block north of Atlantic Blvd.   The festival entrance is into the Pier parking lot on N.E. 2nd street (one block north of Atlantic Blvd.) between A1A and pompano Beach Blvd.

There is limited paid parking in the municipal lot at the festival entrance and off of Riverside Drive across from the Sands hotel (turn left at first traffic light east of the Intracoastal).  There is parking at the new beach lot at A1A and Atlantic Blvd.  There is also paid parking available in a number of private lots around the beach.  It is highly recommended that you park along Atlantic Blvd. between U.S. 1 and the Intracoastal.  Free trolley service runs from the bank parking lots found about three blocks east of U.S. 1 on Atlantic Blvd.  Beachside parking lots fill up early.

DO YOU HAVE MORE TO EAT THAN JUST SEAFOOD?  -  While seafood is the main attraction, there is plenty of good ole American food as well.

WHERE IS THE STAGE AND WHAT IS THE SEATING ARRANGEMENT?  The main stage is located on the beach on the north side of the pier.  There is no seating provided.  Just bring a blanket and stake out a piece of sand.  The stage can also be viewed from the Pier.

CAN I BRING MY OWN DRINKS?  -- Unfortunately, the answer to this one is no.  You cannot bring coolers into the festival.  This is not a money issue (although you are supporting many local charities when you purchase our drinks).  In this day and age of insurance regulations and security concerns, we cannot allow you to bring in coolers or other large bags.

WHAT WILL I FIND ON YOUR BOARDWALK BAZAAR?  -- Another of our most popular features is our Boardwalk Bazaar (arts and crafts).  It is an incredible mix of arts and crafts, clothing, and displays by local businesses.    The main area is actually on the beach and in our new layout will be set in the shape of a U with the popular community stage on the south end.  The vendors actually set up in the sand on either side of a wooden boardwalk.  There is an additional area of vendor displays at the Festival entrance.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE REVENUES FROM THE FESTIVAL?  -- The Seafood Festival is a not-for-profit corporation.  Revenues benefit a wide variety of charities and civic organizations.  It is one of the things that make the festival so unique.  This is a largely volunteer driven event.  Groups like Pompano Beach High School, the Boy Scouts, Blanche Ely High School, Exchange Club, Pompano Proud and civic groups like the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Pompano Beach Fishing Rodeo, Women in Financial Services, Kiwanis, Rotary, Soroptimist,  and others supply volunteers and benefit from the profits.  Over the years hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised for all these groups.

ARE THERE ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS? -- Absolutely.  “Pompano Jack’s Fun Zone” will be located at the south end of the boardwalk. The Festival’s kid’s area fun zone will feature games, bounce houses, face painters and more. Plus many of the vendors on the boardwalk feature toys and kids clothing.

CAN I BRING MY PET? – Unfortunately, NO! No dogs of any size, no birds, no snakes. No animals period.
